Responsibilities:
As a CNC Machinist, your responsibilities will include:
Maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail in close-tolerance manufacturing.
Utilizing intermediate math skills for measurement, testing, and problem resolution.
Replacing cutting tools as required to meet product conformity.
Safely operating overhead cranes.
Demonstrating proficiency in the use of inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, pi tapes, etc.
, and hand tools.
Reading and interpreting documents such as blueprints, work orders, and manuals.
Changing cutting tools and adjusting machine feeds and speeds as needed.
Working effectively with minimal supervision.
Performing routine maintenance on equipment.
Completing required inspection documentation reports.
Receiving priorities, instructions, and assignments from the supervisor.
Observing safety regulations and exhibiting a high concern for safety.
Aligning and securing holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
Demonstrated experience operating computer numerically controlled (CNC) machines.
High school diploma or equivalent (experience is appreciated but not required).
Trade school education/certificate preferred.
Ability to produce precision manufactured parts with a high level of accuracy.
Math skills for measurement, testing, and problem resolution.
Competency in reading and interpreting documents such as blueprints, work orders, and manuals.
Knowledge and adherence to safety regulations with a high concern for safety.
