This is a part-time, temporary/seasonal position.
Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis to establish an applicant pool.
As vacancies occur, they are filled from the pool.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Minimum of a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university in the specified discipline or a closely related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Current EMT license in Nevada which includes instructor endorsement.
Minimum of five years active experience in the EMS field within the past ten years.
Ability to communicate effectively with college faculty, staff and students.
Preferred
Qualifications:
A current license as a Paramedic Experience teaching college level courses Experience with distance education/web teaching modalities Fluency in Spanish Duties and
Responsibilities:
Develop EMS courses which incorporate the currently required EMS state and national curriculum elements.
Teach assigned courses and be available to students during the contract period.
Prepare course syllabi, course outlines (if necessary) and related instructional materials.
Maintain student records, including attendance and grades.
Communicate with the laboratory/simulation technician regarding needed supplies, materials, and equipment.
Administer student evaluations.
Participate in orientation and faculty meetings as requested.
Participate in student retention activities as requested.
Promote college educational programs and services to the communities served by WNC.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
