About The RoleThe position plays a key role and serves as a trusted business partner in the Finance organization and provides financial leadership as the co-pilot to site Manufacturing and supply chain team & providing financial leadership and analytical support relating to the annual plan, monthly and quarterly forecasts, and strategic plan.
As a member of the factory leadership team this role leads the pursuit of operational excellence and cost efficiency through a variety of initiatives including cost & inventory management, Value Leadership/Productivity, asset utilization, governance and controls, and building financial acumen.
This position provides transparency on operating results, clarifies key performance indicators for Manufacturing through variance analysis, cost structure analysis & period reporting.
This position ensures systems and adjoining processes operate effectively in support of building effective business partnering.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Lead the operating plan, revised forecasts for the manufacturing site.
Including manufacturing costs, NQC/waste, Value Leadership/productivity, and inventory.
Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
Supports the period close, inventory management, forecasting processes within established timelines.
Actively participate in ERP deployment and analytic development project.
Develops and maintains routings/standards for all items manufactured at the site.
Ensure accuracy of inventory (raw, pack, and FG) across the supply systems in accordance with the policy guidelines Partner with Logistic team for operating plan, revised forecasts & tracking period performance, while ensuring adequacy of period accruals for reflecting the actual cost.
Tracking periodic logistic cost KPI's & presenting it in relevant forums Observes inventory cycle counts and reviews proposed inventory adjustments.
Partners with the site teams, both management and floor associates, to identify cost improvement/efficiency opportunities.
Leverages ERP to build reporting in support of understanding period results, inventory movement, and planning/forecasting process to drive financial insights & decision-making.
Partners with site manager to foster an effective control environment.
o Completes ad-hoc analyses as required.
QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
