Position
Summary:
This primary purpose of this position is to deliver solutions to our customers in the areas of WebSphere Portal, Web Content Management and Connections. This position will also assist with the pre-sales and definition of multiple customer projects, utilizing a wide range of experience and applying skills to a variety of industries and situations.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Provides solution architecture design and implementation as well as solution development and delivery of WebSphere Portal, Web Content Manager and Connections across a variety of platforms, including but not limited to Windows and Linux
Executes performance testing and tuning of delivered solutions using tools such as LoadRunner, troubleshoot challenges and identify and implement remediation approaches
Provides lead support to field sales for Software and Services opportunities in the area of WebSphere Portal, Web Content Management and Connections
Collaborates with client (Line of Business, IT) and Sirius team to identify high level business requirements and map to solution capabilities
Works with Sirius development team to create work effort estimates to support Statement of Work creation, and present/effectively communicate proposals to client

Position Requirements
Basic Qualifications -
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
At least seven (7) years work experience in an Developer, Senior Developer, Solution Architect or similar role
At least three (3) years experience with IBM WebSphere Portal and Web Content Management version 7.0 or later
At least three (3) experience with IBM Connections version 4.0 or later
Other Position Requirements -
Experience developing solutions in WebSphere Portal, Web Content Management or Connections
Demonstrated ability to provide thought leadership and collaborate with Line of Business personnel, IT, and other stakeholders to determine needs
Experience contributing to an overarching solution strategy by identifying how a proposed architecture, capabilities and functionality support the client's business objectives
Demonstrated ability with developing strategies and driving end user adoption of solutions using social business and web 2.0 techniques such as gamification or similar
Demonstrated presentation and communication skills
Preferred
Qualifications:
Experience with mobile platforms such as IBM Worklight
Essential Functions
The position exists to provide consulting solutions to customers and as such requires the ability to travel to and from customer sites and interact with customers on an ongoing and regular basis.
