Conducts nutrition screening and routine nutrition assessments, develops and implements nutrition care plans for assigned patients, and documents the plan and follow-up information in the medical mealtime activities andassists staff in preparation of hot and cold menu selections for meal services. Monitors quality and accuracy of food served to patients.
EDUCATION AND
Experience:
1.Minimum of an Associates degree granted by a U.S regionally accredited university or college and completion of a dietetic technician program approved by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education (CADE) of the American Dietetic Association is required.
2.Experience as a dietetic technician or diet clerk preferred
3.Registered or eligible for registration as a Dietetic Technician/Registered (DTR) by the Commission of Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association
and/or certification in Food Services sanitation required.
5.Experience working on a computer using word processing, spreadsheet and graphics software desired.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
