Aircraft Attendant
An Aircraft Attendant (WG-05) performs ramp operations in support of an airtanker base. Ensures safe operations within the ramp/aircraft movement area and the transportation of crew and equipment to and from aircraft areas. Performs light office work related to aircraft handling and servicing. Also, performs various grounds maintenance tasks in and around the airfield. Oversees the loading of fire retardant and/or water. The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Job Qualifications System for Trades and Labor Occupations will be used in determining your qualifications. There is no specific length of training or experience required; however, you must be able to demonstrate through experience shown in your resume.To qualify for a WG-5:
Experience working around aircraft performing duties such as aircraft start-up, taxiing, and parking.You must meet all qualification requirements by the closing date of the announcement.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
