Supervisor-Warehouse - Inventory Control/Customer Service

Overview Responsible for leadership within warehouse.
Responsible for overseeing department workflow and processes, identifying and resolving department issues and customer service.
Leads staff of 2 associates with dotted line responsibilities for 6-10 cycle counters.
Responsible for new hire associate selection, onboarding, training, coaching and disciplinary action.
ResponsibilitiesSupport safety philosophyManage inventory accuracy and quality through daily cycle counting processes, and inventory adjustmentsEnsure high level customer service for all incoming Customer Care Center and other Snap-on location concerns, inquiries and needsOversee Continuous Improvement program using LEAN conceptsMotivate associates to obtain productivity, quality and teamwork goalsInteract with hourly workforce, management, and support staff to optimize continuous improvement processes and operational efficiencyLead and manage workforce in a cost effective, efficient and quality conscious mannerBalance workforce based on daily workload needs with other department supervisorsSupervise training and development to assure facility goals are metDevelop, review and maintain performance standards through a variety of measuresMaintain building contents and associates in a safe and secure mannerAdhere to company policies, practices and proceduresResponsible for maintaining procedures and work instructionsMaintain and manage tools and supplies necessary for the jobPlan layout of warehouse and other storage areasIssues written and oral communications and/or instructions to associates and the management teamProvides back up to the other warehouse supervisors in their absenceManage workforce according to company philosophy aligned with Snap-on's Who We AreAll other duties as assignedQualificationsREQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree preferred in Logistics/Business or equivalent experience.
To include functional expertise through management or supervisory experience and/or education in:
Warehouse/Distribution Center Inventory Control/Customer Service/OperationsEducation or actual experience in areas involving:
SafetyCoaching, training and developmentCommunicationConflict managementLeadership skillsMulti-taskingPerformance managementRapid Continuous Improvement (RCI)/Lean ApplicationsTime management/delegationKnowledge of is a plus:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
